Book 1: DragonBond
Welcome to Endonsha, a planet inhabited by many races of people filling its single landmass. Oh yeah, and there are dragons. And magic. You know.
Alita is content with her life of travel, never staying in one place for long, mostly to avoid drawing attention to the fact that she has a rather unusual traveling companion and guardian: a dragon named Axen. But Alita gets caught in the middle of deadly tension between two settlements, forcing her to set aside her normal life and stay put until they come to a resolution which will allow her the freedom to move on. The longer she stays, the more unsettled she feels, sensing that she’s forgotten about something important. About some reason why she stays in motion. About something that could destroy her entire world. |
Book 2: Sanaraheim
On their pilgrimage to Innsbrooke, honorable Elf Mikell’s greatest concerns are shielding his wife Mara from magic and keeping his harrowing memories of the Hranite war buried where they belong. But when the kingdom of Kenara’s beloved Princess Tashan is proclaimed murdered by those same Hranites, Mikell and Mara suddenly find themselves caught up in a political plot that threatens to thrust all of Endonsha into chaos.
Despite all reservations, Mikell finds himself joining the unlikeliest band of “heroes” on a quest to uncover the truth behind Tashan’s death… if she was truly murdered. To his dismay, a magic user named Ari joins their company, threatening to corrupt his innocent wife with her teachings. Somehow, Mikell must find a way to trust Ari’s help while also keeping her evil magic, and the ghosts of his past, from destroying everything he loves. |
Book 3: Power
A year after saving Princess Tashan and all of Kenara, friends Mara, Mikell, Ari, and Korent seek out a powerful artifact, a stone that amplifies magic. They know the possible dangers of their journey into the mountains: cave-ins, sheer cliffs, and the vicious underdwellers. What they don't know is that someone else is seeking the stone: an enemy who will stop at nothing to get it.
When Princess Tashan summons Mara and her husband, Mikell, they never thought they would be sent on a new adventure with their old friends Ari and Korent. The four venture deep into the mountains to hunt down a powerful stone with the ability to amplify a magic user's powers. They have to face not only the perils of the journey into the mountains - cave-ins, sheer cliffs, and the vicious underdwellers - but also tensions between them as Mikell grows increasingly more alarmed at Mara's changing personality. When Mara is separated from the others, she has to rely on herself to survive and find her friends even as they strive to find her. Not only that, but they discover someone else is after the stone: an enemy who will stop at nothing to get it and use its potential to become a violent, destructive force. |
Book 4: Magic
Princess Tashan is known as one of the wisest, most powerful rulers Kenara has ever seen. But her childhood was a different story: one of an impulsive, uncontrolled girl whose magic use was more likely to burn down buildings than to do anything useful.
Young Princess Tashan loves life in the palace with her parents, as well as sneaking out in disguise so she can play with her older cousin, Ari. Her biggest problem is trying to control her untamed magic use - or it was, until she stumbles into a plot against her family and is kidnapped. Staying disguised as a street kid, she struggles to find a way to escape with no one to help her but a grandmotherly elder and a pugnacious teen. Unfortunately, there's only so much they can do locked in an underground dungeon, especially when Tashan's magic is more likely to harm them than to do anything useful. An unlikely ally arrives with a new possibility for escape; the only catch is that the plan hinges on Tashan's magic. If she can't come up with a way to control her magic use - fast - then she'll lose her parents forever. |
Book 5: Invasion
Four years ago, the Hranites breached the Wall and marched on Kenara, beginning a long and painful occupation. Korel, an Elf living on the edges of society, is determined to turn that around. He works to spark a revolution, fancying himself the hero to save all of Kenara.
Instead, a few humiliating false starts land him with an unexpected group of allies and a new mission to march across the breach into Ebrun, land of the Hranites, and rescue their captured leaders. Despite the eagerness for the task his new comrades show, he can't help but feel some doubts about some of his allies, particularly a wild Tulvan who seems of questionable reliability. |
Book 6: Traitors
The occupation is over. The Hranites have been driven back to their own land. In Kenara, the people must find a way to recover from the brutal years under Hranite tyranny. Kibi, one of the now-Broken Tulvans who betrayed their nation, joins the others like her on a pilgrimage, sent to live in service and find answers. She serves willingly but can't bring herself to believe anything could ever make things right again.
To her amazement, a message comes from Maker that they are to be remade into something new, giving them a second chance to be whole again. But when some of her companions begin to abuse their newfound gifts, she will have to find the courage to stand against them or see history repeat itself. |
Book 7: Feral
While on a diplomatic mission, young Prince Relan has little more on his mind than avoiding trouble with his bossy older brother, Prince Hinaru. But when their guards learn of a plot to overthrow Kenara's queen, the two boys suddenly find themselves with no choice but to flee straight through enemy territory.
Conspirators manage to separate the brothers from their guards, stranding them alone in a dense forest teeming with deadly animals and the even deadlier Ferals, violent creatures that kill without thought or hesitation. Unable to fend for themselves, the brothers find help in an unexpected, mysterious source - one that they're not sure they can trust. With their attackers hunting them down and danger in every direction, can Relan and Hinaru make it safely home? |
